Precision Polygraph of Texas (“we,” “us” or “our”) on www.PPoT-tx.com (the “Site”) recognizes the importance of privacy. This privacy notice discloses the privacy practices for the Web Site and polygraph information. PPoT is a single member limited liability company, so it is not concerned with pleasing investors...it's concerned with keeping your information private.
PPoT is the sole owner of the information collected on this Site. It only has access to/collect information that you voluntarily give via email or other direct contact from you. PPoT will not sell or rent this information to anyone.
PPoT will use your information to respond to you, regarding the reason you contacted it. PPoT will not share your information with any third party outside of the organization, other than as necessary in merchant billing to fulfill your deposit payment request.
PPoT uses "cookies" on this Site. A cookie is a piece of data stored on a site visitor's hard drive to help us improve your access to the site and identify repeat visitors site. For instance, when PPoT uses a cookie to identify you, you don’t see the initial popup notification repeatedly, thereby saving time while on this Site. PPoT takes precautions to protect your information. When you submit sensitive information via the Site, your information is protected both online and offline.
Wherever PPoT collects sensitive information (such as credit card data), that information is encrypted and transmitted to us in a secure way. You can verify this by looking for a lock icon in the address bar and looking for "https" at the beginning of the address of the Web page.
While PPoT uses encryption to protect sensitive information transmitted online, it also protects your information offline. The computers/servers in which it stores personally identifiable information are in a secure environment.
If you feel that PPoT is not abiding by this privacy policy, you should contact PPoT.

You will receive text messages confirming and then reminding you of your scheduled appointment.
You may email necessary information such as needed documentation. PPoT will reply to confirm receipt.
Examinees may use the published email and phone numbers. PPoT personal contact information may not be used by clients to contact PPoT.
PPoT does not allow any recording of examinations. For this reason, PPoT requests that you turn your phone off when you enter the office. PPoT reserves the right to confirm that your telephone is off, or request that you leave your telephone in your vehicle.
PPoT does not accept “friend” requests from current or former clients on the PPoT profiles on social networking sites because these sites can compromise examinees' confidentiality and privacy. For the same reason, PPoT requests that examinees do not communicate via any interactive or social networking websites.
PPoT will never post information about an examinee on a public website. PPoT asks that you respect its privacy and refrain from posting information regarding it on any website such as Angie’s List or Yelp.
PPoT requests information from Examinees on the online appointment request form. To obtain services, Examinees must provide contact information (like name, email, and phone number) and financial information (like credit card number, expiration date). This information is used for billing purposes. If we have trouble processing an order, PPoT uses that information to contact you.
PPoT abides by the standards of practice of the national and state organizations in which it is a member. Examiners shall maintain the confidentiality of their work conducted until a release by the client is obtained. PPoT may disclose polygraph information with another polygraph examiner solely for the purpose of confidential professional consultation. PPoT will comply with subpoena requests. PPoT uses a schedule of records destruction, which is typically three years. There is one hiring authority that has extended this to five years for their records.
If we happen to encounter each other outside of the professional setting PPoT employees will not address you unless you address them first, in order to protect your privacy. They will return a friendly greeting and allow you to initiate a brief interaction. PPoT does not discuss polygraph-related information outside the office.
PPoT uses a very well known, US-based, publicly-traded credit card processing company to bill users using credit cards to pay for services. PPoT does not retain, share, store, or use personally identifiable information for any secondary purposes beyond filling your payment for services and documenting who was present for receiving a polygraph examination.
