Austin Polygraph Testing Location

Precision Polygraph of Texas (“PPoT”) is located in northwest Austin, Travis County, Texas. Approximately eight minutes north of downtown, it is easily found. The professional testing site is quiet, low profile, and has ample free parking.

Adhering to strict state and national testing standards, PPoT uses only the digital computerized polygraph systems in a dedicated professional examination testing room. It is nothing like what you see in the media. Our discussions are low profile and done in a non-accusatory non-confrontational manner.

There are polygraph examiners that sell on low price. These may not be reliable or properly conducted polygraph examinations. Be careful. You get what you pay for. It is like finding a cheap surgeon or attorney. Some people say that low price is the last refuge for a polygraph examiner with little ability.

For ethical and accuracy reasons, PPoT will not work in anyone’s home. Due to the amount of emotional factors in the home (such as emotional photos, children, animals, etc.) and distractions (ringing phones, ringing doorbells, barking dogs, etc.), polygraph examinations there are less accurate than those in a neutral location. PPoT will however conduct examinations at a jail, prison, or sports tournament location for an additional fee.
